WELCOME TO PORTVILLE, NEW YORK
Portville is located in Cattaraugus
County, New York. The Village of Portville is within the
south part of the Town of Portville and southeast of Olean, New
York. The community was first settled around 1813.
The Village was incorporated in 1895.
According to the US Census Bureau, the village has a total area
of 0.8 square miles, all of it land. The Village is on the
east side of the Allegheny River and is split by Dodge Creek,
which flows into the river. New York State Route 417 passes
through the village.

add bricks engraved with service members' names to the
memorial in Pioneer Park in recognition of your dedication
and service to our country in its efforts to make our world
a safer place. Forms may be obtained in the Portville
Village Office. Bricks may be purchased for $30 for each
brick.
